Websites for the shops you walk past every day.

I design and build simple, fast websites for local businesses, plus small tools like order and quote forms, so customers can find you, see what you offer and get in touch.

What I build

Everything works on phones and computers, loads fast, and is yours to keep.

  • Business websites

Your hours, address, phone and photos, an open-now sign, and one-tap call and directions buttons.

  • Contact and booking forms

Forms that send straight to your email, so customers can ask a question, request a quote or ask for an appointment.

  • Menus and prices kept current

New item, new price or holiday hours? Send me a quick email and I'll update the site for you.

  • Small tools

Little things that save you a phone call: order request forms, quote calculators, seasonal hours.

Sample work

These are demo sites for fictional businesses, built to show what your site could look like. They're not real clients.

How it works

  1. Free mockup

I put together a first look at your site using your real hours and details, so you can see it before paying or deciding anything.

  2. Build

Once you like the direction, I build the real site with your photos, menu or services, and your wording.

  3. Launch

Your site goes live on your own domain. You own the domain and everything on the site.

  4. Ongoing care

I keep hours, menus and prices up to date when things change, so the site never goes stale.

About me

I'm Grant, a web developer on the North Shore of Long Island. I build sites for local shops and service businesses, and I do all of it myself: the design, the writing, the build and the updates.

If your business is near Sea Cliff, I'm happy to come by and show you the mockup in person. Anywhere else, we can go over it by email.

I'm also a photographer. If you need good photos of your shop, your food or your work, I can take them for a flat $50.

Pricing

The mockup is free. If you want to go ahead, I give you a fixed price after a quick chat, so there are no surprises. Half is due to start the build and half at launch.

Common questions

Still have a question?

Ask me directly
Do I own the website?

Yes. The domain is in your name, and the content and files are yours. If you ever want to move on, you take it all with you.

Will it work on phones?

Yes. Every site works on phones, tablets and computers, and the hours, menu and call button are easy to reach on a small screen.

What do I need to give you?

Your hours, address and phone, what you sell or offer, and any photos or logo you already have. Clear phone photos of your shop and products are fine to start.

Will customers find me on Google?

Your site is set up so Google can read your name, address, phone and hours. Showing up on Google Maps also depends on your free Google Business Profile. I can set that up or update it for you and link it to your new site.

How long does it take?

About 4 to 7 days once you've approved the mockup and sent me your details and photos.

Is there a contract for the care plan?

No. It's month to month, billed through Stripe, and you can cancel anytime. If you cancel, you keep your website files.

Can you take photos for my site?

Yes. I'm also a photographer and can shoot your shop, products or work for a flat $50. Your own phone photos are fine too.

I already use Booksy, Square, Toast or DoorDash. Can the site link to it?

Yes. I add a clear button that takes customers straight to your booking or ordering page, so you keep using what already works.

Where is the site hosted?

On Cloudflare, a large hosting company used by millions of sites, so it stays fast and online. Hosting is part of the care plan.
